Ike is on his way

So Ike is on his way to the Texas coast. My prayers are with everyone who has to endure any part of this storm. Some of my family has decided to stay in Houston and brave the terrible weather ahead and I hope they and many others are fully prepared.

I on the other hand will be home riding out the bad weather this weekend in my apartment with the first 5 episodes of season 1 of The Tudors and trying my hand at an Italian Cream cake from scratch! Yowza!

Hurricane Ike

Hurricane Ike is on its way to Corpus. Well that's whats being projected. Its weird not being in the midst of all the craziness that comes with a hurricane in the gulf. I'm worried about my family - I kinda want to be there with them.

Reunion

Last night the old crew was back together again and we had a blast! We've been through a lot together and there is more life to come. There are so many memories that just wouldn't be the same if they didn't involve Michelle, Lora & Michael. Time and distance keep us apart at times but neither of those things matter much. Even though the three of them knew each other long before I was around our crew really began in theatre arts class in 6th grade :) Fast forward to last night - still the same amazing friends I met when I was 11! I love you all.

NKOTB!!! Cant wait for the show in San Antonio in a few weeks!!! VIP section is where the Legends will be.

Now I know that their new songs pretty much suck but hopefully they will play plenty of old stuff to make it worth our while. Aurora was right - no one wants to hear "new" NKOTB - we want old school Hangin Tough, Valentine Girl, Tonight, Please Don't Go Girl - you know the greatest hits!

I'm sure NKOTB will deliver.
